About Me
Ever since I can remember, I dreamed of becoming a counselor, and I am proud to say my dream has come true! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in VA, NC, and FL. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist, working towards becoming an EMDR Consultant. I have also earned a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) certification. I graduated from the University of Southern California in 2014, where I earned a Master’s in Social Work Degree (MSW) with a focus on helping the military and their family members. I started my education journey with a degree in Human Services, with a focus on substance abuse and addiction. I have worked in many different locations, serving various communities.
My experiences include remote islands, both large and small; isolated villages; Community Health Centers; large hospitals; crisis consultant work; and inpatient treatment programs. I have worked with Veterans Affairs, PCP offices, and Neurology practices. I worked as an independent contractor and eventually started my own Telehealth practice. Through this extensive experience, I realized that my skills and passions are best applied to working with individuals, couples, and providing family counseling.
